I Remember Everything
2018
20 minute video

At dusk, I stand silently outside the house, looking into its main living area, until I am engulfed in darkness.

Created at the Hans Scharoun House of the Ferdinand Möller Foundation in the east of Germany. Möller, who dealt the works of artists designated as "degenerates" by the Nazis, commissioned Scharoun to create this modern masterwork as a summer cabin. Möller and his family retreated there, along with the collection of artworks, due to the bombing of Berlin in 1943. In 1949 he escaped with the collection, as the house was located in the Soviet Occupied Zone. In recent decades the house was fully restored.

With thanks to the Ferdinand Möller Foundation and Loock Galerie.
